Introducing GovHub

Te Whakarōpūtanga Kaitiaki Kura o Aotearoa - NZ School Boards Association (NZSBA) is introducing a clearer and more transparent way for school boards to access the services we deliver under our Ministry of Education contract. From this month, our contracted support will be delivered under a refreshed and dedicated brand: GovHub.

This includes the support you receive when you contact the Advisory and Support Centre (ASC), work with our Regional Advisors, access governance resources, or participate in contracted professional learning and development. While the name is new, the services, support, and people all remain the same.

NZSBA remains one organisation, but we play two distinct roles depending on the service being delivered. GovHub helps school boards clearly see which services are delivered on behalf of the Ministry of Education through the School Board Support contract, and which services are provided independently by NZSBA as part of our role as your membership organisation.

Over the coming weeks, you will begin to hear and see the GovHub name when calling the ASC, working with Regional Advisors, accessing contracted resources, and participating in governance learning delivered under the Ministry contract. GovHub branding will gradually appear across digital materials such as email signatures, templates, and learning resources. Boards do not need to take any action, and all support channels continue as they do today.

Our advocacy, publications, and membership services will continue under the NZSBA Membership brand. This includes Onboard, Membership Matters, sector submissions, representation, and member events

We are also updating our website to make it easier to navigate the difference between GovHub and NZSBA membership services. These updates will provide clearer navigation and improved visibility of where each brand applies.

Our services might be delivered under new names, but our commitment to supporting effective governance across Aotearoa remains the same. If you have any questions about the transition, please feel free to contact us.
