GovHub-NZ School Boards Association (NZSBA) may receive unsolicited personal information about individuals through schools (their boards and principals) when we provide employment and governance advice. The school is generally responsible for informing individuals about this under the Privacy Act 2020 (including IPP3A) and may tell them that their information could be shared with advisers such as NZSBA. We handle any personal information we receive in line with our privacy statement and the Privacy Act, and where information is not required or would be inappropriate for us to retain, we will take steps to delete or de identify it.
